The doshas ( Vata, Pitta, Kapha ) are biological energies present in all living things.
Each individual has a unique combination of doshas, which determines their physical, mental and emotional characteristics.

Vata
Vata dosha is associated with the elements of air and space.
People with a Vata predominance tend to be energetic, creative but also susceptible to anxiety and stress.

Pitta
Pitta dosha is associated with the elements of fire and water.
People with a Pitta predominance are often intelligent, assertive but can also show excessive competitiveness and irritability.

Kapha
Kapha dosha is associated with the elements of earth and water.
People with Kapha predominance tend to be calm, affectionate but also prone to fluid retention and a greater predisposition to weight gain.
